Our vision at the Southern Colorado Coal Miners Memorial & Museum is to preserve the long history of coal mining in the region and to continue to educate the public on the essential role it played in the lives of Coloradoans.
The museum is proud to house the collection of large scale paintings, "Remembering the Ludlow Massacre." This body of artwork vividly evokes the life of the Miners during a monumental period in American history as well as the legacy of coal mining and organized labor.
We host a wide range of events throughout the year, including children's educational seminars, community outreach activities and museum development initiatives.
